Frederick Overdijking is a native of Holland, who lived for 20 years in Scotland, and then came to live in Naples in February. He recently purchased the Fifth Avenue Coffee Co., downtown, but plans to retain the same menu and staff.

What was the last album that you bought?

I don’t remember the title, but it was by Al Jarreau. He is my favorite artist.

What kind of music do you like best?

Smooth jazz; George Benson, Jarreau and that type.

Do you buy many CDs?

No, I don’t buy CDs any more. I get all my music from iTunes online.

Do you purchase one song at a time or the whole album?

That depends. If I really like all the songs, which I often do, I’ll get the album. But sometimes, it’s just an individual song.

Is there any music that you don’t like?

Yes, hard rock and hip-hop.
