Lely High School athletic director Paul Ruby said roughly 180 tickets were sold on Tuesday for Friday's Coconut Bowl football game between the Trojans and Naples High.
Tickets, which are $5, are only being sold at Lely's main office from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call 377-2000. No tickets will be reserved, and no tickets will be sold at Naples High.
Tickets will be sold to Lely students Wednesday through Friday, as well as the general public.
Ruby said he did not anticipate cutting off sales.
A crowd of up to 4,000 is expected for the 35th annual game. Naples leads the series, 20-14. This year, both teams are 7-1, and the winner will earn the Class 3A-District 14 title and play host to a first-round playoff game on Nov. 21. The loser will go on the road in the first round.
Naples High is the defending Class 3A state champion, and is ranked No. 3 in the state poll. The game starts at 7:30 p.m.
Extra bleachers are being brought in for the Naples High side, and Ruby said one of school's bands will sit in one end zone, with Lely's Junior ROTC in the other end zone.
