The body of a missing Georgia man found in a car off I-75 has been identified as Jimmie Spell, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.
FHP found his 2000 Ford Mustang on August 1 in a wooded area near the 103.5 mile marker of northbound I-75. The man inside the vehicle was dead. The cause of death is pending.
Spell was reported missing by his adult daughter, Tonya Spell, on July 24. The 62-year-old went missing after vacationing with his family in Marco Island.
