Alvin Davila, 34, of 9352 Mantanzas Road, Fort Myers, and Daryl Eugene Fischer, 34, of 2119 Snead Drive, Lehigh, face charges of burglary, grand theft and trafficking stolen property. Davila faces an additional count of illegally claiming ownership of the scrap metal, Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrest records show.

Alvin Davila, 34, of 9352 Mantanzas Road, Fort Myers, and Daryl Eugene Fischer, 34, of 2119 Snead Drive, Lehigh, face charges of burglary, grand theft and trafficking stolen property. The 7.3-acre site, between Guflview Apartments and Admiralty House condominium, sold for a reported $3.1 million. Deltona Land &amp; Development Corp. sold the property to Yaminta Corp., a Curacao Corp. located in the Netherlands.

I think we all were unknowingly quoting from the lyrics this week as the weather chilled us all to the bone. This was not a time to be outdoors especially in the early morning hours.

It has been nice cool fall weather so far. This will allow your annuals to establish and begin to grow without the stress of hot weather.
I wrote earlier about preparing the gardens for planting by tilling or turning the soil six inches deep and then incorporating two to three inches of organic matter, such as cow manure and peat, into the planting beds. This will increase the nutrient and water holding capacity of our sandy soil.
